Everyone loves bracelets, everyone wants. They are precious and they are prestigious. They are a symbol of status and wealth. Glass artists create glass bangle bracelets that are delicate and skillfully crafted. In India, every state has its own special type of crafting plain gold, as well as, gold studded jewellery. We are talking a bout diamonds. Only some of us can afford diamonds. For the rest of us the re is cubic zirconia.
Cubic stone zirconia is not quite as hard as diamond, but it weighs more than diamond. These styles have been adopted by the goldsmiths of other areas as well. It is also colorless and this is very rare in a real diamond. Cubic stone zirconia can be made in many different colors by using different metal oxides. This is what makes it such a popular choice for so many people. Hollow gold beads and bangles filled with lac, though a speciality of Maharashtra, are now made all over north India. The clarity is better than some of the rarest diamonds.
There is no denial of the fa ct that everyone would prefer authentic di amonds, and some people will settle for no thing less. This provides the glass an extraordinary, metallic, shimmering effect. Other jewellery makers that work with glass apply colored glass in various colors and designs to thin metal bangles creating an elegant look of an all glass bangle. But some of us prefer to spend our money on o ther things.
Cubic zirconia is a be autiful alternative It will probably never be come a girls best friend, but to day many woman (and some men) are proudly wearing their cubic zirconia rings. The elegant styles and delicate designs of bracelets display both simplicity and elegance and are highly sought after by the fashion conscious youth of today. One method is to use dichroic glass which is made by applying metallic film directly on to the glass.
